"I'll call you.. See if I got the right number."

After waiting for some time, the girl responded. "Yep. My phone's vibrating. Your number is.. 017.. 616... 1108?"

"Yep. Name's Keng Fai."

"I know. I saw your friendster."

"Oh yeah. And your name, miss?"

"Wei Jing." She smiled, and marched away.

Keng Fai smiled too, and he walked back to class.

"And then, you take the paint brush and just lightly spray some white paint on your art...."

Suddenly, out of nowhere, Yau Hui sang. "Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop! Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop!"

"What the hell is that?" Geraldine exclaimed.

"It's a song."

"What song?"

"Scatman by Scatman John."

"Who the hell--"

Keng Fai's phone rang. "Wo bu shi pien ren de~~" ("I do not lie to people" in Mandarin, btw)

"Aiya, who's phone is it? Put silent, or I rampas ah.." Pn Noor said. With a smile.

With that, Keng Fai immediately rejected the call, and activated silent mode, before viewing the caller ID of the person who called.

"1 Missed Call - wei jing hp (Friday, 8:32am)"

'Huh? Why did she call? I'll text her.'

"y u call? nw i hv lesson lah. but i tink i can sms, teachr nt lookin. -keng fai"

With that, Keng Fai proceeded to press "Send".

Within minutes, he received a reply.

"Hi Keng Fai, I found much difficulty in reading your message which is filled with grammatical errors. I can make out part of it, and as a reply, I messaged you to ask about a few matters that I would like to clarify. Although, now I don't feel like clarifying anymore. Thanks. Best regards, Wei Jing ^_^"

Keng Fai was slightly confused. 'I thought she understands text language?? Oh well..'

"Eh, Keng Fai, you finish your art already or not ahh..? Can show me? You very relax oni.."

"Teacher, I trying to generate some "qi" (energy, a.k.a chakra) for my art mah.. then oni got magic! You just wait and see lah!"

"You say wan ahh.."

"Ah."

*whisper* "Wendy Tan! Can help me draw and colour? Please.... Please, 'je' (sister), please..."

Wendy responded, "Haiya, you so lazy. Ok lah, ok lah." and with that, she patted Keng Fai's head (and shuffled his hair - aka beehive). "My cute 'didi' (brother).. haha!"

Then, Keng Fai felt his phone vibrate. He took it out.

"1 New Message(s)."

He pressed "View", and read the contents.

"Meet me tonight. --Jing"
